LAKE TEMAGAMI ATLAS      Selected Old Growth

                                                                Pine Stands

Although Lake Temagami is largely ringed with old-growth red and white pine, the stands shown are easily accessible and particularly spectacular. The Temagami Island stand contains hiking trails and has the most impressive white pines in the area for size and age - up to 350 years old.
