1980s Temagami battle gets provincial recognition

The battle for Temagami's forests in the 1980s gets a spotlight in Ontario's environmental history.

Interviews with Brian Back (of Ottertooth.com), Hap Wilson and Amber Ellis recount the passion and struggle to save Temagami. The project is part of the Environmental Commissioner of Ontario's work to capture the big events in the environmental history of Ontario.

The light also shines on Pollution Probe, the battle against acid rain, Greenpeace, birth of the Environmental Bill of Rights and MOE's first lawyers.
