Bringing in the ice Manitou Lake Lodge cutting ice for its icehouse. This is one of three known icehouses in the area. The others are at Ojibway Lodge on Lake Temagami and Rolly Jonas' lodge on Maskinonge Lake. The latter two have been bringing in ice for close to a century. None use it for primary refrigeration any longer, but make it available for drinks and porting to campsites. See Castonguay's full album of this year's haul.
