Lines on the landscape

Four transportation corridors through northeastern Ontario converge on the town of Temagami (top centre). At the bottom edge of the photo (left to right): Highway 11, Transcanada's mainline natural-gas pipeline, Hydro One's high-voltage power line, and Ontario Northland Railway.

Sherman Mine's east pit is in upper left corner. The town is bracketed by Lake Temagami to the west and Snake and Caribou lakes to the east.
