Alphonse Rioux, original proprietor of Lakeland Lodge on Lake Wanapitei, with beaver pelts from his trapline. Pelts on the top and the sides are on stretchers (round). Rioux is sitting on the porch of the main lodge, constructed in the 1920s. One of the last of the region's old log lodges, it was destroyed by fire in January.
