Spirit Rock

 This unusual perspective captures the stature and eminence of the natural monolith. The Spirit Rock sits in the centre of aboriginal sacred grounds that are threatened by logging. More on Spirit Rock  

Capturing the photo itself required a little daring on the lip of the cliff by the photographer, who is the Wakimika Triangle trails steward. Two photos were merged to create the vertical panorama.
