Last ice on Lake Temagami

"Slush ice drifted in from the south. Melting fast. With today’s temps, it should be the day." -- Penny St. Germain on Temagami Island

Last night, with no wind and 0 C, the lake around Keewaydin on the North Arm did something rare, reports Jason Pigeau: it skimmed over with a Saran Wrap of ice. It melted off in the sun.

Ice in photos (above and below) near High Rock Island.
