Freeze-up of Temagami by satellite, 2019

With persistent extreme cold and little wind on December 19, we are going with Bob Farr's call from Bear Island for freeze-up that day. (Stephen Battis reported the Southwest Arm closed that day.) A flyover by Ron Miller on, and this satellite image from, December 20 add confirmation. The only visible open water above is on southern Lake Timiskaming.
