Mine Landing at the end of the Lake Temagami Access Road

DECEMBER 16, 2004 — Well, freeze-up begins. Actually it started last week with cold temperatures. The landing froze, but it slowly broke away with the return of warmer temperatures. 

Yesterday's frigid minus 18 C made lots of ice. People are still travelling, but it is more difficult. And tonight we are promised minus 18 C so here is hoping...

If the temps remain so, I should be able to sled to the landing on Friday.
