Freeze-up!

Wow, about two inches of new ice. Minus 30 temperatures made the difference.

Sunny and no winds today. Glad I pulled my boat.

I went for a walk at sunset and my channel is frozen solid. I am sure I can get to the landing by snowmachine Thursday.

It looks like the lake is mostly frozen, but I hear that a boat passed by Cattle Island breaking ice. Probably out of smokes!

If this ice stays with no wind, the ice skating will be a dream. Imagine unlimited rink space and goals three miles away.
