Thin ice around the shore. |

APRIL 23, 2005 — Cold again last night. No rain or snow though. Very strong winds from the northeast, but no ice movement. There were more openings at the shore. Since we only had a high of 6 C, these openings were the result of the wind. The water levels are up again, which is good because we are way below normal. — Gerry Gooderham of Ogama Island, Lake Temagami
