Thin ice around the shore.

APRIL 23, 2005 — Cold again last night. No rain or snow though. Very strong winds from the northeast, but no ice movement. There were more openings at the shore. Since we only had a high of 6 C, these openings were the result of the wind. The water levels are up again, which is good because we are way below normal.

Open water at the shoreline. Yes, this is the colour reflected in crystal-clear water.
