Lake Temagami freeze-up photo 2021

After the overnight freeze seen yesterday morning in our last photos, open water remains on Lake Temagami in at least two common expanses shown here.

In the top photo, the Bear Island community is on the right. In the background water can be seen that stretches from Sand Point south to Chimo Island. The airboat was out to the landing and back, leaving the water trail.

Below it is open in the North Arm to the north and south of Rabbitnose Island (background).
