Freeze-up near completion

A crisp minus 20 C here this morning, and  clear and sunny. Slight winds from the north, but they seem to be diminishing. Nice hoar frost on all the trees.

I ventured out by boat in the afternoon close to sunset and decided to pull my boat out of the water. Likely I can snowmobile to the landing by Thursday if my back channel freezes tonight. I believe the landing side [of Temagami Island] already has seen John Harding and Dianne Reeder snowmobile out.
