The brand-new, custom-built section A trailer and the van used between Temagami and northern Quebec.

Future applicants for staff and guide of Section A will also have to add roadside repair skills to their requirements.

We were just leaving the town of Matagami in northern Quebec, having just bought two new tires. Dylan, the driver, pulled onto the highway. We couldn’t have been driving for more than two or three minutes when all of a sudden, there was an enormous explosion. Dylan looked in the mirror and started screaming, “The tire is gone, we have no tire!”  He stopped as fast as possible.

The suspension had collapsed AGAIN, but this time the tire caught on the fender. This bent the fender completely back, then burst the tire. For the trips up and back we bought six new tires and must have jacked up the trailer over 15 times.
