JULY 11, 2013 Temagami Outfitting is closed and is up for sale. The business is one of two canoe outfitters in Temagami and operated an outdoors store in the village. The outfitter did not open its doors this season. Smoothwater Outfitters is the remaining complete-service canoe outfitter.
JULY 3, 2013 After auto archiving there are new pages on the forums that follow the search for Daniel Trask. "Ottertooth continues to be instrumental in getting our message out," Daniel's mother Maureen sent in an email.
"Regarding our search so far this year, Don has been up twice,
using the [Diamond Lake] cabin as home base. This is very convenient
and more comfortable, since it's very close to the search area we are
focusing on. They found no further signs of Daniel, so we
continue our search.

JULY 2, 2013 Haze from large, northern Quebec fires hangs over the area and parts of southern Ontario. MNR says the smell of smoke will persist until the wind direction changes. If you see a large column of dark-coloured smoke or open flame, call 310-FIRE (3473).
